![]() It's a lot of text, so to see it all you have to scroll. ![]() Depending on your OS version there should be a button that shows either 'Report' or 'Show Details'. MacOS creates crash reports whenever it detects that an application has terminated unexpectedly. ![]() If the zipped folder exceeds this size, use or a similar file sharing service of your choice and post a link here. Please note: The size limit for attachments per post is 60MB. Open your home directory, open the folder 'Lightworks, zip the folder 'Logs' and attach it with your response. The tilde ("~") is the shortcut for the path "/Users/", where "" stands for the name of the currently logged in user - In other words: That's your home directory. That's because effect templates and installed user effects are stored there and cannot be rebuild automatically like the rest.īelieve it or not, the Lightworks Logs folder is indeed located at "~/Lightworks/Logs". Important note: If you have Lightworks user effects (VFX) installed or effect templates, do not delete the folder 'Effect Templates', but either rename it, or move it out of the Lightworks folder, or make a copy prior to deleting. Hope that's understandable and helps a bit. Both are subfolders in the Lightworks user folder C:\Users\Public\Documents\Lightworks\. It might be necessary (better: it is prudent) to delete the folder 'Effect Templates' and the content of the folder 'Plug-Ins' (except of the new VST3 subfolder), prior to the first scan after changing the configuration. The later has the advantage that all modifications in config.dat will survive program updates and you can edit the file in user mode. Alternatively, you can copy config.dat from the program folder to 'C:\Users\Public\Documents\Lightworks\Preferences' and edit it there. Notepad, as administrator and open the file afterwards. ![]() To edit it there, start a plain text editor, e.g. Config.dat is located in the Lightworks program folder 'C:\Program Files\Lightworks' (with default installation). ![]()
